explained that before leaving, committee members were to mark up to ten issues they would like

Chair Hunsaker pointed out that there are several issues on the survey that are going to
other committees for study. He also informed the committee that the Education of Insurance
Professionals and the Mental Health Insurance Regulation issues have been withdrawn by the
sponsors.
Sen. Mayne reported on the hiring practices of the I-15 construction project. He indicated
that the primary benefit of the project is that 70 to 80 percent of the workers will be Utahns,
which will help fuel the state's economy. He also pointed out that the I-15 workers do not have
to be union members.
