     It has been proposed that the current taxes on alcoholic beverages be increased. The additional revenues would further fund alcohol-related law enforcement, prevention, and treatment programs, as well as continue to support the school lunch program.

11:25           Report on Utah Technical Assistance to Political Subdivisions for Low to Moderate Income Housing Program
         The committee will receive an annual report by the Division of Community Development as required by § 9-4-1204. This report will contain information regarding the scope, amount, and type of assistance provided to municipalities and counties, including the number of low and moderate income housing units constructed or rehabilitated within the state.
