3.    In-Depth Budget Review - Division of Licensing

        Section 36-17-3, Utah Code Annotated, provides that the membership of the Legislative Process Committee be supplemented with four members appointed by the executive branch to study in detail the budget of a department of state government. The agency to be studied is recommended to the Legislative Appropriations Committee by the Legislative Auditor General. The Legislative Process Committee may report recommendations for reduction or additions to the budget of that department to the appropriate legislative appropriations subcommittee.
