3.     Election Law Commission
    The committee discussed this issue at its October meeting and made changes to the draft. A revised draft is now complete and ready for committee discussion. Possible amendments have also been prepared and the committee will hear reports about the fiscal implications of this legislation.

4.    State Treasurer's Office
    The committee will discuss draft legislation concerning the duties of the state treasurer.

5.    Electronic Filing of Campaign Finance Reports
    In October, the committee discussed the idea of moving toward electronic filing of campaign finance reports. The Lt. Governor's Office has looked at this issue and developed a prototype, which they will demonstrate for the committee.

6.     Provisional Ballots
    The committee will discuss draft legislation concerning provisional ballots. A provisional ballot would allow a citizen (whose eligibility to vote is in question) to vote, with the county clerk confirming their eligibility later.

    The committee will discuss draft legislation making technical corrections to the election code.
