Data and forecasts relating to water supplies in the state will be presented.

3. HB 418, "Water Conservation Plan"
Rep. Buffmire will discuss HB 418, "Water Conservation Plan," which the Legislature enacted in the 1998 General Session.

4. Water Development Funding
Representatives of the Division of Water Resources and Division of Drinking Water will report on how much money is available for funding water projects including dam safety
projects.

Commission members are invited to report on projects underway or under consideration within their river districts.

Dr. Daugs will comment on environmental education programs being used in schools.

The Clinton administration has put forth clean water initiatives to reduce nonpoint source
pollution in the nation's waters.

The State Water Development Commission was created for a period of five years ending
December 31, 1998. Commission members are invited to discuss whether the commission
should be reauthorized.
