              The Governm ent Operatio ns Committe e has oversight and investigat ive responsib ilities over various executive branch agencies, including the Departm ent of Administr ative Services, the Departm ent of Human Resource Manage ment, the lieutenant governor 's Elections Office, the governor 's Office of Planning and Budget, and the State Auditor and State Treasur er's offices. Certain of these entities will report to the committ ee about their current activitie s, their future plans, and any issues requirin g legislati on that they would like the committ ee to study or address .
