        To study the effectiveness of existing statutes designed to protect private property rights and to review other statutes that may encroach on these rights. (Master Study Resolution Item #83; submitted by Rep. Olsen)

        *    Craig Call, State Property Ombudsman


2:30 p.m.     3.    Optional Forms of County Government
        Additional information regarding optional forms of county government will be presented.

3:30 p.m.     4.    Legislative Audit - Copperton Improvement District
        The Legislative Auditor recently completed an audit on the Copperton Improvement District located in southern Salt Lake County. The audit addresses the oversight exercised over this independent special district.

                Tim Osterstock, Audit Manager
        *    Response to Audit:
                Neil Martinsen, Board Chair, Copperton Improvement District

        The chairs have requested permission of the Legislative Management Committee to continue the Special Districts Subcommittee. The proposed work plan/focus of the subcommittee will be presented for the committee's input.
