2:00        1.    Call to Order and Approval of May 20, 1998 Minutes


2:05        2.    Tax Credit for Stay-at-Home Parents

            During the 1998 General Session the Senate considered and passed S.B. 210, Income Tax Credit for Stay-at-home Parents or Guardian. The bill did not receive a hearing in the House. The sponsor, Senator Muhlstein, will present the bill to the committee for its consideration.


2:40        3.    Portability of Funding
            
During the 1998 General Session the Legislature passed H.B. 372, Portability of Funding for Health and Human Services. H.B. 372 requires the Division of Services for People With Disabilities and the Division of Health Care Financing to conduct a study to identify alternatives for increasing the portability of state and federal funding for services to persons with disabilities. The committee will receive a preliminary report from the divisions. A final report will be presented to the committee in October.


3:10        4.    Genetic Testing Privacy Act
            The committee will continue it's study of 1998 H.B. 271, Genetic Testing Privacy Act, focusing on health insurance, informed consent, and other issues.
