1. Call to Order - Chair Myrin called the meeting to order at approximately 10:40 a.m.
2. Committee Business - Chair Myrin introduced himself as did the other committee members, including a brief history of their involvement with the Native American Legislative
Liaison Committee. Goshute leaders and program managers also introduced themselves.
3.
Discussion of Ibapah - Ken Williams, Tribal Administrator, welcomed the committee
and provided background on the tribe and the Goshute Business Council. Goshute program
leaders provided overviews in their areas of expertise, including:
Antonio Williams, Social Services
Georgie Anne Oppenhein, Day Care
Olivia Edmo, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling
Milton Hooper, EPA Director
Genevieve Fields, Tribal Secretary
Debra Henroid, Elders Program
Mary Pete, Tribal Court Clerk
Melissa Tom, Child Welfare
Daniel Tsinnie is a Medical Assistance Transporter
Other issues included law enforcement (cross-deputization), roads, community, health and
education.
