The description and current cost estimates of services and property listed by individual state agency, broken down by fiscal year, and separated as outlined below. Note that information
reported under item "i" will be tentative since organizing committee requests for services is still in the formative stages.
i.
Services and property that may be requested by the organizing committee; and
ii.
Services and property not likely to be requested by the organizing committee but which may be required because of Olympic related activities.

Estimated Budgetary Impacts on Local Government and Their Effect on State Budgets - John Fowler
To the extent possible due to limited information
provided to date to
the State Olympic Officer, an estimate of budget impacts on local governments and an analysis of their effect
on state budgets.

Presentation of the report "2002 Olympic Winter Games - Economic, Demographic, and Fiscal Impacts." To enable a comparison of
the timing and source of the costs to the timing and recipients of the benefits, the presentation will
include an analysis of economic benefits, broken down as follows:

type of benefits
ii.
recipient of the benefits; and
iii.
timing of the benefits

Payment for State Services and Mitigation of Impact on State and Local Budgets - John Fowler
S.B. 159 requires the State Olympic Officer to annually provide recommendations on payment for state services and ways to mitigate impacts on state and local governments
. However, in today's meeting he has been asked to discuss a conceptual framework of
guidelines that could be considered as the Legislative and Executive branches determine a
state policy.
