At its last meeting, the Government Operations Committee discussed the proposed bill "Political Party Amendments." An amended bill has been
prepared for discussion.

4. Public and Commercial Access to Voter Registration Information -
At its last meeting, the Government Operations Committee discussed access to voter registration information. The Committee made decisions
on what information should be private and what should be public. Draft
legislation is being prepared for discussion on this issue.

5. Office of State Debt Collection -
At its last meeting, the Government Operations Committee received background information on the procedures of state debt collections and
discussed draft legislation. An amended bill has been prepared for
discussion.

6. Voting Equipment and Voting Mechanisms -
In the May meeting, the Government Operations Committee was briefed on voting equipment and voting mechanisms in Utah. At this meeting,
there will be a demonstration of new voting equipment and further
discussion of this topic.
