AGENDA


         1.    Call to Order and Committee Business -
            Minutes of the June 17, 1998 meeting.
        
         2.     Report - Mandatory Education Course for Divorcing Parents
                    30-3-11.3(9) "The Administrative Office of the Courts shall adopt a program to evaluate the effectiveness of the mandatory educational course. Progress reports shall be provided annually to the Judiciary Interim Committee."

        
3.    Report - Pilot Program for Expedited Visitation Enforcement
                    30-3-38(9)(a) "The Administrative Office of the Courts shall adopt outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the mediation component of this pilot program. Progress reports shall be provided to the Judiciary Interim Committee by August 1988 and as requested thereafter by the committee.
At least once during this pilot program, the Administrative Office of the Courts shall present to the committee the results of a survey that measures the effectiveness of the program in terms of increased compliance with visitation orders . . ."
    
                    30-3-38(9)(b) "The Department of Human Services shall adopt outcome measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the services component of this pilot program. Progress reports shall be provided to the Judiciary Interim Committee by August 1998 and as requested thereafter by the committee.

         4.    Privatization of Social Security Number
                    
The committee will continue its discussion of the practice of using social security numbers as identification numbers when conducting private business.

        
5.    Discussion of Reliable Hearsay
