                (Consideration of minutes of the October 13, 1998 meeting.)

                                                    
1:05 p.m.     2.     Comparative Negligence For Seat Belt Use
                (Utah law currently prohibits the failure to use seat belts as evidence in any civil litigation on the issue of injuries or on the issue of mitigation of damages. After considerable discussion and testimony on this provision, the task force requested that it be brought back for futher discussion and action.)
    

1:45 p.m.     3.    Education, Public Awareness, and Media Programs
                (What can be done to increase traffic safety through the use of these programs.)


2:45 p.m.     4.    Physically Impaired Driver Issues
                (In the last meeting, concern was expressed over the safety of senior drivers and other drivers who have developed physical impairments that reduce their ability to drive. What statutes and rules are currently in place to address this issue? What more should be done?)
