5.    Appointment Procedures for Legislative Vacancies
    The committee will review procedures used in other states for filling legislative vacancies.
                
6.     Authority of Standing Committee Chairs
    The powers and duties of standing committee chairs in other states will be provided for review.

7.     Legislation Format, Purpose Statement, and Summary
    The committee will review the experience of other states who include alternative purpose statements, or summary information in bills.
