State Impact:
This bill would increase the construction cost of most State buildings by about 2 percent and some difficult to locate buildings by as much as 10 percent at a cost of
about $5,144,600 plus another $1,500,000 in non-state funds. The State would need two FTE to handle the increased work.
This bill would increase the cost of building an elementary school by $100,000 to $300,000 and a middle school, junior high or high school by $200,000 to $1,500,000.
Estimated total annual costs are $1,400,000 to $6,900,000.
