State Impact:
Enactment of this bill will require an ongoing appropriation of $12,127,700 General Fund, which will be matched with $23,732,100 Federal Funds to the Departments of Health and Human Services.
Based on current federal and state statute and policy, the long-term fiscal impact of this legislation will be savings and cost avoidance for Utah's Medicaid and long-term care services.
