                  AN ACT RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY; AUTHORIZING PEACE OFFICERS TO
                  ADMINISTER OATHS.
                  This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
                  ENACTS:
                      53-13-113, Utah Code Annotated 1953
                  Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. Section 53-13-113 is enacted to read:
                      53-13-113. Authority of peace officers to administer oaths.
                      A peace officer, as defined in Section 53-1-102 , who is acting within the scope of his or her
                  official duties may administer oaths.
