             5      AN ACT RELATING TO STATE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES; REPEALING PROVISIONS
             6      RELATING TO SPECIAL POLICE.
             7      This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:

             27      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:

             28          Section 1. Repealer.
             29          This act repeals:
             30          Section 67-12-1, Declaration of public policy.
             31          Section 67-12-2, Appointment of special policemen -- Application.
             32          Section 67-12-3, Qualifications -- To be investigated -- Certificate -- Oath.
             33          Section 67-12-4, Powers and duties.
             34          Section 67-12-5, Employee of state -- Liability for acts or omissions.
             35          Section 67-12-6, Termination or revocation of appointment -- Criminal penalties for
             36      exercise of powers after revocation.
             37          Section 67-12-7, Rules and regulations.
             38          Section 67-12-8, Additional safeguards and protection of property.
             39          Section 67-12-9, Appointment upon application of state governor.
             40          Section 67-12-10, Application forms -- Contents.
             41          Section 67-12-11, Certificate of appointment to be issued.
             42          Section 67-12-12, Special policemen must be approved -- Oath.
             43          Section 67-12-13, Powers and duties.
             44          Section 67-12-14, Employee of state or other political entity -- Compensation.
             45          Section 67-12-15, Liability for acts or omissions.
             46          Section 67-12-16, Termination or revocation of appointment -- Criminal penalty for
             47      exercise of powers after revocation.
             48          Section 67-12-17, Rules and regulations.
             49          Section 67-12-18, Governor authorized to apply for appointment of special policemen
             50      in other states -- Compensation -- Additional safeguards and protection of property.
