             6      AN ACT RELATING TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS; PROVIDING A $50,000
             7      APPROPRIATION TO HELP PAY THE TRANSPORTATION COSTS OF HIGH SCHOOL
             8      STUDENTS THAT REPRESENT THE STATE IN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL RODEO
             9      COMPETITIONS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
             10      This act enacts uncodified material.
             11      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             12          Section 1. Appropriation.
             13          (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 2000-01 only, $50,000 to
             14      the Department of Agriculture to help pay the transportation costs of those high school students
             15      that will represent the state in national high school rodeo competitions.
             16          (2) The appropriation is nonlapsing.
             17          Section 2. Effective date.
             18          This act takes effect on July 1, 2000.
