    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 253, HIGHER EDUCATION TUITION AND FEES EXEMPTION, by Representative J. Tanner, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 7:    After "LEFT" delete "HIM", and insert "THE VETERAN PERMANENTLY AND"

2.    Page 1, Line 18:    After " means an " delete " individual " and insert " Utah resident "

3.     Page 1, Line 18:    After "means" delete "an" and insert "a"

4.    Page 1, Line 21:    After "individual" insert "permanently and"
