Mr. Speaker:

    The Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Committee recommends H.B. 275, SALES AND USE TAX ALLOCATION FOR SPECIES PROTECTION, by Representative T. Hatch, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 275, SALES AND USE TAX ALLOCATION FOR SPECIES PROTECTION with the following amendments:
1.    Page 4, Line 106:    After line 106 insert the following:

        "(ii) Money transferred to the Department of Natural Resources under Subsection (5)(b)(i) may not be used to assist the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or any other person to list or attempt to have listed a species as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, U.S.C. 16 Sec. 1531 at seq."

        Renumber remaining subsections accordingly.
