    The Education Committee recommends H.B. 405, SCHOOL BOARD COMPENSATION, by Representative N. Hansen, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 405, SCHOOL BOARD COMPENSATION with the following amendments:

1.     Page 1, Line 7:    After "UP TO" delete "$8,000" and insert "$6,000"
2.     Page 1, Line 16:    After "[$3,000]" delete "$8,000" and insert "$6,000"
