Senator Steele proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 21, Line 728:    After line 728 insert:
        "ITEM 135 To Governor's Office of Planning and Budget
        It is the intent of the Legislature that the underfunded compensation for Adult Corrections, the Division of Youth Corrections, the Courts, and the Board of Pardons receive high priority for supplemental funding for fiscal year 2001. In addition, the Governor's Office of Planning and Budget shall include the amount in the fiscal year 2002 beginning base budgets."

         Renumber remaining items accordingly.
