Mr. Speaker:

    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 211, TUITION WAIVERS FOR TEACHERS, by Representative W. Harper, with the following amendments:

1.    Page 2, Line 40:    After line 40 insert:
        " (E) The State Board of Education shall reimburse higher education institutions for waivers given under Subsection (2)(b) from the annual appropriation made by the Legislature to fund the program. "
