Mr. President:

    The Education Committee recommends S.B. 61, ENHANCEMENTS TO THE STATE SYSTEMS OF PUBLIC AND HIGHER EDUCATION, by Senator L. Hillyard, be replaced and favorably recommends 1st Sub. S.B. 61, ENHANCEMENTS TO THE STATE SYSTEMS OF PUBLIC AND HIGHER EDUCATION with the following amendments:
1.    Page 3, Line 70:    After " board; " delete " and "

2.    Page 3, Line 71:    After " (iii) " delete " five " and insert " six "

3.    Page 3, Line 72:    After " governor " delete the period and insert " ; and "

4.    Page 3, Line 72:    After line 72 insert:
        " (iv) a master high school teacher, who has teaching experience in mathematics, physics, chemistry, physical science, or information technology selected by the superintendent of public instruction. "
