proposes the following amendments:
1. Senate Human Services Committee Report
Dated February 7, 2002
Delete the amendment made in committee on Page 2, Line 33 of
this HB 237
2. Page 2, Line 31: After "(5)" insert "(a)"
3. Page 2, Line 33: After Line 33 insert:
(b) If the court finds that a licensed program under Subsection
(5)(a) is not available to the defendant within a reasonable distance
from the defendant's residence or place of employment, the court
shall order the defendant to obtain and satisfactorily complete
treatment or therapy with a mental health therapist, as defined in
Section 58-60-102, who is licensed in this state and who has had a
course of training in the specific practice area of domestic violence.
