VOTER REGISTRATION AMENDMENTS

Senator Dan R. Eastman proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 11, Line 317:    After "(c)" insert "(i)"

2.    Page 11, Line 318:    Delete "(i)" and insert "(A)" and after "clerk;" reinstate "and"

3.    Page 11, Lines 319-320:    Delete lines 319-320.

4.    Page 11, Line 321:    Delete "(iii)" and insert "(B)" and after line 321 insert:
        "(ii) If the voter is registering for the first time in the county, the citizen shall either:
        (A) submit a copy of a proof of identification or proof of residence with the by-mail voter registration form; or
        (B) submit a copy of a proof of identification or proof of residence to the election judge at the time the citizen votes."
