Representative John Dougall proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Lines 8 through 9 :    

             8          This bill modifies the State System of Public Education by prohibiting any further
             9      participation in the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001
  , except where there is adequate federal funding to improve the academic performance of all students       .


2.    Page 2, Lines 27 through 29 :    

             27          The State Board of Education and school districts may not enter into a contract or other
             28      agreement or otherwise further participate in the "No Child Left Behind Act of 2001," except
             29      where there is adequate federal funding
  to improve the academic performance of all students       .
